On Sunday June 23, 2024, St. Nicholas Church celebrated the Great Feast of Pentecost, known as the "Birthday" of the Christian Church. The Feast was marked by Festal Great Vespers on Saturday Evening, the Festal Divine Liturgy with Kneeling Prayers on Sunday Morning, and the celebration of the Divine Liturgy with a Festal Procession on Monday morning for the double feast of Pentecost Monday/Holy Spirit Monday and the Nativity of St. John the Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord. Following Monday's Liturgy, those in attendance enjoyed fellowship with each other by sharing brunch at a local restaurant. Many thanks to all who decorated the church, attended and sang services, and participated in the Feast!
